Dr. Thorp is a Board-Certified OB-GYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician with over 45 years of experience. 

Throughout his distinguished career, he has overseen approximately 27,500 high-risk pregnancies. 

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Thorp remains actively involved in research, with over 250 published papers. He has been a reviewer for major medical journals and an examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. 

He also held a position on the Board of Directors for the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine for four years. A recognized expert, he has testified before U.S. Senate Committees and has been interviewed on hundreds of media platforms. 

His research has focused extensively on the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in more than 70 published articles and two books. 

A father of five, James is a former athlete who enjoys hockey, football, kayaking, fishing, Biblical studies, reading, and research.
